A brand new episode of Doctor Who also means that we’ll be treated to a brand new episode of Doctor Who Confidential, and details regarding the instalment of the behind-the-scenes series that will accompany The Waters of Mars have been revealed!
As the tradition goes, the episode, called Is There Life On Mars?, will air straight after The Waters of Mars has finished. Confidential will transmit on BBC Three from 8:00PM-9:00PM and, for the first time, simultaneously on BBC HD!
The Confidential team follow the crew as they create water monsters and explosions, and there’s exclusive interviews with Tenth Doctor actor David Tennant and outgoing showrunner Russell T Davies too!

Overnight ratings have been released for parts one of two of The Eternity Trap, episodes 7 and 8 of the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Part one, which aired on Thursday, was watched by an unofficial audience of 0.9million, which is a 7.3% of the total television share.
Meanwhile, yesterday’s episode achieved an audience of 6.6%, with 0.8million tuning in to see Sarah Jane and the gang discover the secrets of Erasmus Darkening.
The Eternity Trap has been aired on BBC1! What scary episode! At some point we thought Sarah Jane wasnt gonna make it!

BBC Worldwide has done a deal with MSN Video to supply classic episodes of Doctor Who online. The stories are available free on the MSN website. The series is starting with the 1965 William Hartnell story, The Web Planet.
New episodes will be added on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10th November.

The opening of this week’s Sarah Jane adventure saw Professor Rivers and the gang investigating an old legend, but a monstrous creature appeared in the night as the terrifying grasp of Erasmus Darkening reached out from centuries past… Scary!

We have heard from the official Doctor who site that a brand new 60-second preview of the upcoming special, The Waters of Mars, will be broadcasted tonight on BBC One!
Although they havent give us a time to tune in and watch the trailer, it’s thought that it will air either before or after this evening’s episode of Waterloo Road, which starts at 8:00PM.
If you miss it, then you will be able to watch it on the official Doctor who site tomorrow.
Following the release of the UK transmission date, BBC America has confirmed The Waters of Mars will air in the US on Saturday December 19 at 9:00pm ET/PT.
Tennant’s final two stories will then air over the holiday season as a two-part special. Airdates will be released in early December.
The BBC will release The Waters of Mars and the two-part finale on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 both as individual releases and also as part of a 5 disc specials collection including The Next Doctor and Planet of the Dead.
